An inventory, not blanket verification

These entries include all references extracted from this article, including works about architecture, origins and other subjects. They do not all support destruction claims. Bibliographic capture does not mean that the original work was read. Some references cite another bibliography entry rather than a URL.

The sourced dossier identifies which accounts support each published claim. Original-language editions, offline books and inaccessible articles remain marked for further assessment.

  1. 1. ↑Firishta's history and the inscriptions on Ali Barid's tomb mention the year of his demise to be 987 Hijri, which may correspond to 1579 or 1580 in the Gregorian calendar. The exact date or month of his death is not known. However, historians consider it to be 1580 as it is consistent with the fact that his successor Ibrahim Barid Shah ruled for seven years.\5\
